This is Shorty, the terrier mix gentleman. Shorty’s excellent teeth suggest he may be younger. Sadly, he and his brother (Jasper) ended up in a loud, scary shelter when their elderly owner developed a progressive illness and could no longer care for them. It’s heartbreaking for both the humans and the dogs. These two will be placed in the senior category and will come with a $100 adoption sponsor, but we will never separate them—they are always together and very attached.
