For over 2.5 years, she’s been waiting in foster care, often overlooked simply because of her breed. But anyone who meets her quickly realizes what they’ve been missing — this girl is something truly special.
She’s a smaller pittie mix with a stunning brindle coat and the softest, most loving eyes. Jewel is incredibly laid back, has great recall, and thrives on human connection. One of her favorite things? Finding her people and gently asking for affection — just like the day she trotted up to the barn, tucked herself in close, and looked up as if to say, “please pet me.” It worked — she quickly became a favorite.
Jewel has been living with her longtime buddy Ace and does well with other dogs, but more than anything, she just wants a person to call her own.
